Album 6 - Centenaries

The original St Matthew's was consecrated in 1708 and closed in 1897. The present buildings were completed in stages over the following 15 years. In 2001 we celebrated the consecration of the nave of the present building, in 2008 we celebrated both the centenary of the completion of this building and the tercentenary of the consecration of Old St Matthew's. .
